The scammers know this very well and tell the house owners that they can help to talk to the bank and help them with payments.

They of course charge a fee for this and desperate house owners have paid everything from a few hundred dollars to thousands of dollars to save their house from being sold on auction.

The American authorities is trying to warn as many as possible for this scam.

If you take a look at the email below there is many things that I found strange

1.

The sender is a Yahoo email and not a real bank email with the name of the bank and then .com.

2.

The send sends to undisclosed-recipients that’s a lot of people and not only you. But in the email he says he only send to you.

3.

Besides the email does not make any sense at all and all the grammatical error why do they send secret codes in an email?

4.

The email is a live.com free email that anyone can get and not very likely to be used by a bank. The phone is probably a free phone and why in earth would he give you his cell phone number?

I do not have to go on if you just check these simple things then you will never fall for these fake emails ever again.

Seriously I really do not understand how people can believe and eat things that come to them inform of a email spam. If a stranger came to you on the street selling pills that will make you loose 5 kg in one week would you buy them?
Off course not you will run and maybe even call the police.

Same thing with the diet pills they are strange people and trying to make you pay for something that does not work. If it had worked it would be in the shelf and approved by the government.
